Mobile Locker installs state of the art locker system in French historic theme park

This was the first theme park to make use of our innovative Mobile Locker solutions. So we took the time to get to know the customer journey. Koen, founder and director of Mobile Locker said: “We increased our user friendliness by offering a symbol flow to open your locker instead of just selecting a code. This makes it a fun experience for kids even.”
In April 2019, we installed fixed lockers in two different sizes, offering a solution for everyone. Delphine Herieau, receptionist at Puy de Fou noted the instant success of the lockers. “We look back on a successful first season regarding the locker use. The straight forward, easy setup of the user terminal allows visitors to autonomously complete the entire hiring process, reducing our role in the safe storage of goods to a minimum.”
The system we installed not only needed to respect the existing customer journey, it also needed to work for the organisation. It had to be as automated as possible to avoid adding to the workload of existing staff members. The easy to use booking terminal makes it possible to pay for and access a locker without assistance. This helps to eliminate the need for staffing and reduces operational costs. The software offers the company a clear overview of sales, peak hours and the status of each locker. Monitoring can be done remotely, which makes it ideal for a large organisation such as Puy De Fou.
The software is incredibly flexible, allowing the managers to issue locker vouchers to third parties. Free locker storage can be issued when visitors purchase something from the gift shop. This helps to encourage sales, as visitors know that they won’t need to carry their purchases (and their other items) around the park all day.
As a historical theme park, it was important that the lockers provide a modern solution without bursting the bubble. Close attention to detail was required to ensure the illusion was not shattered.
